The Met Office has issued a Red Weather Warning for Wednesday and Thursday, with exceptionally high temperatures expected.
Helpful information:
💧 Drink plenty of water and avoid the sun during the hottest part of the day
🏠 Keep homes cool by closing curtains and blinds
👵 Please check on elderly neighbours, relatives and anyone living alone
🐶 Make sure pets have access to shade and fresh water
🚆 TfL and Network Rail are advising passengers to check before travelling and carry water

🔥 Hot, dry conditions also increase the risk of grass and refuse fires:
